Google Search Console Shopping Tab and Merchant Features

Google Search Console now has a shopping area. Google has included a Google Search Console Shopping tab with a simple method to register a Merchant Center account, access to your product snippets, merchant listings, and shopping tab listing performance and debugging.

Google stated that this would be sent out to qualified sites over the next several weeks, so if you have items on your site and haven’t seen it yet, please wait a few weeks. To get started, navigate to the shopping tab listings section in Search Console and follow the instructions.

If not, Google will notify you that “this property does not have any goods that are qualified for the Shopping tab.”

Merchants may create a Google Merchant Center account through Google Search Console utilizing a simplified aided sign-up procedure that eliminates the need to re-verify website ownership. “There is no need to send a product feed with this new option; merchants must just maintain product structured data up to date.
